Immigration Post-Consultation Action Plan Template

Use this copyable action-plan structure to show immigration clients what they must do, what the firm will do, and what happens next.

Below is a blank operational handoff. It is intentionally plain. The client should be able to scan it on a phone and understand who owns the next move.

Copyable Action Plan

1. Meeting reference

Consultation date: [date]
Professional: [name]
Service discussed: [service]

2. Current decision

Choose one:

  • The firm can offer a defined next service.
  • More information is required before the firm can decide.
  • The inquiry is outside the firm's service scope.
  • The client is considering the available next step.

Do not write a stronger conclusion than the consultation supports.

3. Client actions

ActionWhere to complete itDue date
Review the service and fee[link][date or none]
Sign the required agreement[approved link][date]
Pay the stated amount[payment link][date]
Provide requested information[secure method][date]
Book the next meeting[booking link][date]

Delete rows that do not apply.

4. Firm actions

  • [Action] after [client trigger]
  • Expected response or review timeframe: [real timeframe]
  • Contact channel for process questions: [channel]

5. Important boundaries

  • This plan does not guarantee an immigration result.
  • External deadlines remain the client's responsibility unless the firm has formally accepted responsibility in writing.
  • Sensitive documents should use the approved secure method.
  • Changes in facts may require a new review.

Adapt these lines to professional requirements instead of copying them blindly.

6. One next action

End with one button or link:

Continue with [specific action]

Not "Learn more." Not four equal links. One next action.

Filled Example

This fictional example shows the level of operational detail, not immigration advice:

Meeting: Paid consultation on 05 August 2026
Current decision: The firm can offer a separate document-review service.

Client action:
Review the service scope and fee by 12 August.
If proceeding, sign through the firm's approved agreement link.
Do not email identity documents.

Firm action:
After agreement and payment are confirmed, send the secure upload request
within one business day.

Next checkpoint:
The document-review timeline begins only after the firm confirms that the
required files were received through the approved channel.

Notice what the example does not say. It does not claim an outcome, quietly accept responsibility for an external deadline, or hide a second service behind the first payment.

Version Control Matters

If the plan changes after new information, do not silently edit the page and assume the client noticed. Record the material change through the firm's approved process and tell the client what changed, why, and which version now controls the next action.

Delivering the Plan

A PDF can record a plan. Email can deliver it. Case software can store it. CroozLink can present the client-facing actions as a live, guided sequence connected to payment, signing, booking, or approved external systems.

Use specialist systems for specialist responsibilities. Use the action layer to stop clients from asking which link matters now.

The action plan is successful when both sides can answer the same question: who does what next?
